...how being thoroughly embarrassed in an arm wrestle down the pub can motivate one into training. Honestly, beaten by a plane spotter, I hang my head in shame! I have never been good at arm wrestles though.
More importantly... I have started training again. For the first couple of weeks I'm training light to get back into it, so no laughing at the weights I'm lifting! This is the first session for 3 months. One thing I've noticed is I've lost a lot of endurance - check out my bench press:8,7, then 4 reps! Before I stopped I was doing 3 sets of 5 with 87.5kg! I've also lost half a stone since I last trained, so that needs to go back on!
Hopefully in a fortnight I'll up the weight, and the workout will settle down more.
