Badminton

Badminton is what my training is all about! Played on Tuesday and today this week. 
 
Tuesday was just a case of blowing out the cobwebs and getting my eye back in. Today I did some consistency work, followed by some gruelling games in an uncomfortably warm sports hall. Beat fellow Exeter Uni A team player James 15-6 15-5 and am starting to get back to feeling good about my game. 
 
Still need to work on my split-stepping and keeping my bodyweight low when approaching the net for better balance and speed. At the moment split-stepping properly kills my legs after half a game, so I need to keep working on my lower body strength, particularly the squats and lunges!
